Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Postlio is a product of Bluefin Software, LLC ("Bluefin Software," "Postlio," "we," "us," or "our"), a Michigan limited liability company. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website and content automation platform (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

We collect information you give us directly when you create an account and use the Service, including:

  • Account details — your name, email address, and password (managed securely through our authentication provider).
  • Blog settings — the industry, topics, tone, word count, image style, and approver details you configure for each blog.
  • Connection credentials — access tokens and settings for the platforms you connect, such as WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and Google Business Profile.
  • Payment information — billing details, which are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications — messages you send us for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and usage activity. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used.

Content generated through the Service

We store the topics, blog posts, images, and schedules generated and managed within your account so that the Service can function and so that you can review, edit, and approve content before it is published.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating topics, writing posts, creating images, and publishing to your connected platforms;
  • Process payments and manage your subscription;
  • Send you notifications, such as when topics or content are ready for your approval;
  • Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance, security, and features of the Service;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Providers and Content Generation

Postlio uses third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate text and images on your behalf. The prompts and settings you configure are sent to these providers to produce content. We share only what is necessary to generate your content and do not sell your data to these providers. Content you generate is subject to the applicable AI provider's terms in addition to this policy.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Connected platforms — when you approve content, we publish it to the platforms you have connected (such as WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or Google Business Profile).
  • Service providers — with vendors who help us operate the Service, including hosting, authentication, database, payment processing, email delivery, and AI generation providers.
  • Legal reasons — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Postlio, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure handling of connection credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account information directly in your dashboard, or contact us to exercise any of these rights. You may also disconnect any connected platform at any time from your settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

Postlio is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions that may have data protection laws different from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
